This last few days have been a bit hectic to say the least with several deadlines to meet – the role profiles for the team on site, the business case proposal, info for the team brief to name but a few.

All these things are new skills to learn for me and being a relatively old dog , ( I have just been advised that I need bifocals so help me!) , this has meant my stress levels have been high.  The best antidote for this was to wander outside and have a bit of NT provided physical and spiritual based refreshment at the Ebworth Estate nr Stroud where I work  some of the time.  Just walking past the glorious rolling fields and seeing the contented newborns wiggling their tails and lying in the sun has been uplifting and completely addictive so thought I’d share it with you.. and breathe…

Andy Mayled and Jess have both spoken to the Guardian (G2 Mag) for an article this Sat about the NT attending the festival this year  – and with this has come a flurry of web pages, intranet front pages and a bit of awareness about this blog,   all of which feels quite terrifying at the moment as we are opening ourselves for comment and possible criticism and will need to develop a possibly slightly thicker skin.

Am off to meet the designers again this evening in Bristol to finalise the plans for Dome 1  and to organise delivery for the branches and stumps provided by our  Somerset countryside manager from their woodland for the deconstructed tree in Dome 2.

Its raining as I write this – the lambs are going to have to live without seeing me this lunch time I’m afraid.
