Stumps and Branches

Last Thursday the branches and tree stumps were delivered to our designers to begin the build for the deconstructed tree in the chill out-door zone.

Just in case anyone is concerned  – we haven’t just chopped down any old tree for the sake of art – it was  part of the scrub removal work to return Cheddar Cliffs to species rich limestone grassland.

I love the fact that we know where the wood has come from and that we know they were felled sensitively by experts in great outfits.
